‘Creative Pathways to Smart Money’ is an exciting project that starts in April 2015. The project offers financial literacy workshops that include art therapy, cooking, and growing your own fruit and vegetables in St Austell, Redruth and Penzance. The group sessions are combined with one-to-one counselling; debt advice; and literacy and numeracy support. The project aims to reduce individual’s debts; improve their wellbeing and financial capability; and positively change people’s behaviour and discipline towards spending and saving.

The project is funded for two years by Comic Relief to help people (aged 18 to 65) struggling with financial hardship and ‘mild to moderate’ mental health problems in Cornwall.
